Switch off and Unplug your appliance from the wall socket before attempting any repairs.Hope this helps a bit Good luck and take careI have this coffee maker, same problem. It is not a problem of needing cleaning. You can hand open the valve at the sink, works find, it is more of an issue of plastic wear, aka the mechanism the cup uses to dispense the coffee. There is a little knob that presses on the reservoir that holds the coffee tank, the problem is there, either the mechanism or the reservoir where it pushes. No cooling of the coffee.About the only part that I could find. I'm looking for the whole assembly myself. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at Do you mean no water transfers from the holding tank to the brew carafe. Does coffee not heat up?You have to unscrew the bottom, carefully remove the spring loaded lever, ( don't loose the spring) After fishing the lost rubber washer out of the hole, I used a screw driver or other similar item to pop the screen out. ( use care not to poke a hole in screen.) Next replace lever and spring and push the Star ended piece through the bottom and THEN fasten the washer. Replace all excess pieces and it should be fixed provided the washer isn't badly worn. This is the only way I know how to fix it after countless different web pages and searches. Barely dirbbles out. How can I clean out the cup line clog? I began using another filter on top of the coffee grinds in the basket.

This prevents splattering when aggressive brewing or using more than the usual weak coffee measuring, I like mine strong but not bitter. Fixed the splatter and coffee grounds in the dispensing tank. Coffee filters are CHEAP at the dollar store.Answer questions, earn points and help others. Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The model takes into account factors including the age of a rating, whether the ratings are from verified purchasers, and factors that establish reviewer trustworthiness. See All Buying Options Add to Wish List Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. We put a cup underneath to see if it would stop on its own but it did not. The directions say to clean it with Vinegar due to coffee grinds getting in the dispeser causing it to leak. This seemed unlikely though as it happened the first time we tried it. Amazon sent out a brand new one before i even mailed the old one back. The coffee is much hotter than out old pot coffee and it stays that way and also stays a lot fresher. There is none of that build up in the bottom of the pot that looks like mud or whatever. As far as the other reviews on whats not good about this machine such as the condensation that falls out when the lid is opened and there are rubber feet on the bottom that make it difficult to move and not being able to see the coffe.Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2011 I looove coffee and despite proverbial 'doctors' orders' I drink between a half a pot to a full pot every weekday. I refuse to drink the sludge at work and have been hauling a heavy thermos with me for the past several years. As a reward for finally cleaning off my desk, I decided to buy myself a coffee maker to replace all the piles of papers that had been there.

I will admit, For as much as I drink it, I am a little slow when it comes to remembering the right coffee to water ratio. When I manage to get it right, this little guy sure makes a great cup of coffee. We won't get into how often that happens.;) While my desk is now sans paper, I would not recommend others purchase drippy mcdripperson for their desks. Being that you have to dump the water into the storage basin to measure and then into the back tank.too many steps. Also, forget trying to tell how much coffee is left in the basin. The clear window collects so much condensation that it's impossible to tell. I don't understand the reviews about build up. As I said, I use the heck outta this thing, and just rinse really well after each use. No problems yet and I've had it since early May. Lastly, and the thing that really scalds my knickers, is the 2 hour shut off. The whole point of buying the brew station (instead of a carafe style) was to despense coffee as needed. I've tried simply turning the machine back on and whoa-baby is this thing good at burning coffee. So while I'm all about having coffee available literally at arm's reach, I don't think this was the fit for me. I like that it turns off automatically after 2 hours. The coffee doesn't scorch while it's being held in the reservior. The gold filter works well with it, so I don't use paper one. (I purchased this separately.) The negatives The reservoir is inconvenient to fill.

My upper cabinets are higher than standard, and I still have to pull it to the edge of the counter in order to fill it. It needs cleaning more frequently than your regular sort of coffee pot. The gage that tells you how much coffee is left in the pot is difficult to read. Would I buy it again. Probably not. Am I sorry I bought it. Not really, but I'm not convinced it was the best use of my money either. A cheaper pot would have served me just fine. Please try again later. Please try again later. Jon D 4.0 out of 5 stars Everything looked good but after the first brew we noticed coffee dripping from the dispenser. We put a cup underneath to see if it would stop on its own but it did not. But this new one.we won't even tolerate. It stinks. How in the world can each successive machine get worse. As other reviewers have said, the coffee doesn't come out hot enough to drink and has to be microwaved.or you have to wait half an hour until it heats up. But I can promise you you won't want to do this, because you have to wait a week just to make a pot in the first place. I've never seen a NEW coffeemaker that has to be started a hour before you want to drink the coffee. And yes, it leaks. And yes, it tastes like plastic. And no, we'll not be trying the next model. At this rate, Hamilton Beach won't be in business for a next model anyway. I hate to go back to using a carafe after all these years, but I'm off to buy a Bunn. Enough. Please try again later. The machine itself is big, but ok. Once you get used to this, it's fine. It's unwieldy and clumsy and may result in spillage. Please try again later. Please try again later. A. Viscardi 1.0 out of 5 stars It also gives the coffee a plastic taste to it and that can't be good for your body at all. I don't know how people actually like this brewstation. Spend a little extra and get yourself the Brewstation Deluxe. I had one for 5 years and then it started leaking BUT 5 years is pretty good for a coffee maker that got daily use, sometimes 2 times a day I think. I decided to save some money here and downgrade, worse decision ever. Not only did this one horribly stink, I have now wasted money on return shipping. I will be purchasing another Brewstation Deluxe, the one that comes with the permanent filter. Please try again later. Please try again later. D. Thomas 5.0 out of 5 stars I had no problems with my other two, except for time and wearing out, and since nothing lasts for ever, I knew I had to get another one. This coffee maker is perfect because there is no glass carafe to break, it is pretty simple to use, and everyone gets a nice, hot cup of coffee. There are more fancier Brew Stations, but for my usage, this one works out great. Considering I use my last two Brew Stations constantly every single day, sometimes twice a day, or more. Every guest enjoyed pouring their own cup of coffee, and raved about it. If you are looking for a coffee machine that lives up to the test, time after time, get yourself this one. Excellent! Please try again later. Please try again later. Animal Respect 2.0 out of 5 stars During its life the coffee never seemed very hot after the initial brew. Dispensing was slow even after cleaning the screen in the bottom with a toothbrush. This morning, when it broke, I took it apart to find out why. I separated the double wall reservoir, popped out the upper heat transfer plate and found the gasket was very brittle. Poor quality gasket material.

So here I am - looking for a “different brand”.Please try again later. Please try again later. Steven E. Daly 5.0 out of 5 stars I was very pleased when this arrived in about 36 hours (thanks, Prime)and we set it up for first use. The clock and timer functions were simple, the display was easy to read, and except for misjudging how much coffee to use for a full water-load, it worked beautifully. For the second pot we reduced the coffee by about 40. We use large mugs, and they easily fit into the recess for pouring. Workmanship is excellent, no hint of leaks, and the internal carafe keeps the coffee hot. The 2 removable pieces, the coffee holder and the internal carafe, are easily removed and cleaned. Personally, I would have preferred if there was an external indicator, like a guage, of how much water is present before brewing. The internal carafe has indicators to measure water before you put it in the holding tank, but seeing the markings on black plastic is tough. We use a water jug with lines on it to measure full or half pots. Please try again later. Please try again later. C. Davidson 4.0 out of 5 stars No carafe is involved - just push a coffee mug or cup under the spout, and your coffee pours right in. The coffee maker holds enough for 12 cups and is easy to fill. It can be programmed to brew automatically so that your coffee is ready when you get up in the morning. Of all the coffee makers I have used over the years, this is the best one ever. So why four stars instead of five. For goodness sakes, why not provide this on all models. How cheap is that? I first saw the coffee maker at a friend's house; her model had the spoon included. Otherwise, a super buy! Please try again later. Please try again later. So while I'm all about having coffee available literally at arm's reach, I don't think this was the fit for me. After a few uses on both pots, we would finds large amounts of coffee under the unite due to leakage where the coffee comes out. We clean it as directed I called the manufacture at one point they sent a new inner basket, same thing happened. If they can get it to stop leaking it would be great. I like the fake you did not need a glass cafe. Please try again later. Please try again later.Great cup of coffee.HOT to start the day. Timer is a fabulous addition to have the coffee hot and ready to savor to start the day. Recommend highly. So yes I would recommend if you are interested in those things I mentioned. Please try again later. Please try again later. J. KIRSCH 4.0 out of 5 stars The brewstation is a great coffee maker for anyone who ever hated the glass pots for whatever reason (drips, fragility, etc.). You can stick your cup under the dispenser and perfectly control the amount and flow, all one handed. But, the old model had a white inner carafe that was hard to clean and after not too long it would start to leak. This model is so much better. Not only is there no inner lining to clean, but the inside is black and the outside is chrome toned. So much easier to clean! Please try again later. Please try again later. Sheila Montuori 5.0 out of 5 stars I was disappointed that it did not come with a paper filter to use immediately, although it did provide coupons to purchase some. It did not come with a water filter pod that it recommends for better tasting coffee. I figured they could have started you off with these two essentials to get started right away.

https://verkoop-je-wagen.be/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1628700af883cc---cadillac-escalade-esv-2007-owners-manual.pdf

It also recommends using HIGH QUALITY paper filters, so I purchased Bunn's brand. The coffee maker itself is easy to operate and simple to clean. The coffee pot is tall and would not benefit under the counter top, luckily I have the option to keep mine on the island where I have easy access to it without having to pull it out every time I need to make coffee or clean it out. The water reservoir is narrow as others have mentioned; however, it is only a minor detail that barely deserves to be mentioned. I chose to use a Pyrex measuring cup to pour the water in the reservoir, instead of using the well marked holder, because it just seemed easier to me. But I plan to play around and see what works best. Due to all the hype about leakage and since I am the only coffee drinker in the house and prefer my coffee on the stronger side, I chose to brew less than 12 cups. It specifically says not to use more than 1 coffee scoop per cup of coffee, but I believe that is if you are making the full 12 cups, so I knew I could add an extra scoop since I was making less than 12 cups. I encountered no problem with my theory and the coffee brews rather quickly. It's nice that you can dispense it before it finishes if you are in a hurry. Before taking the first cup you can easily see how many cups it has made; however, as others have mentioned, after dispensing that first cup you are unable to see how many more remain due to the condensation. This issue is fine for someone like myself, who is the only coffee drinker in the house, since I can easily track the amount of cups I have had throughout the day. If you don't care about this, it is well worth it's value. I proceeded to brew my coffee without the water filter pod, but used my own filtered water, and it tasted great. I'm not sure what others were doing that complained about the coffee taste, whether they were or were not using the filter pod or filtered water, but if you follow the directions you should not have a problem.

https://www.grandeprairie.org/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1628700c2b65a7---cadillac-escalade-2009-manual.pdf

I do believe most complaints are due to operator error. The directions also recommend that you run a clean cycle with vinegar once a month. That seems extreme to me as I usually do mine every season. The coffee maker keeps the coffee HOT for for the FULL two hours it claims. I was impressed by this as some were saying it did not. I had a thermal carafe in the past that did not keep it this hot and I had to heat in in the microwave. This dispenser was piping hot after the full two hours. It is so easy to clean afterwards too. Once you clean out the coffee and wash the holder you need to turn it upside down to remove the condensation buildup at the remaining cup marking. I believe this covers a lot of the discrepancies mentioned and I hope you find this review helpful. All in all it is a great coffee maker that makes great coffee at a great price that is very simple to use without any frustration! Please try again later. Please try again later. Ginger 5.0 out of 5 stars I like that there is no coffee pot to clean or to worry about breaking. I like that you can put the basket and the coffee chamber in the dishwasher to clean them. I like that when the coffee sits in the coffee chamber, you can heat it up later in the day and it never tastes bitter, burnt or oily. I like it so much that I just bought two more of them for my coffee-drinking daughters-in-law who thought it was the greatest thing when they came to visit. They are delighted! Please try again later. Please try again later. Mr. Man 5.0 out of 5 stars I have it set right next to my kitchen sink and I can fill it with the sprayer without having to pour water into it. It dispenses coffee very cleanly with no mess or drips and fills small and rather large travel mugs with ease. I alreay have two of them, one for work and one for home and I just bought this one before they quit making it if one of my others should quit working. I love this coffee pot! Please try again later. 0 out of 5 stars Now I am on my second one in 5 years and you will absolutely love this coffee maker. It will last a very long time, just remember to clean it. My disclaimer: I should have cleaned more often as it would have extended its life. No messy carafe to mess with and one handed operation makes it a plus! Please try again later. Please try again later. Bruce E. Balfe 4.0 out of 5 stars The first one lasted 4 years and then the element burned out. It works well and as described. Coffee brews quickly and stays hot. I suggest using a regular pitcher to fill it rather than the one the coffee brews into because it is less likely to drip on the counter. Only complaint is that grounds sometimes collect on the inside of the lid and it needs to be cleaned off before brewing another batch. Please try again later. Please try again later. C. Posted 10 years ago. Verna54601 Love the ease of brewing. I especially love not having a pot. I ALWAYS have drips with pots but this is no mess when pouring your coffee. I LOVE this pot. Just remember not to overfill or you will have water all over your countertop. The other thing that I would change is to put handles on the sides in order to make it easier to pull the pot out from under the counter to pour the water in the resevoir. This pot is tall so it has to be pulled out from under the cupboard before filling with water. All in all, this is a WONDERFUL brewer and I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend this to a friend Helpful (7) Unhelpful (0) Report Comment Amywamy Amywamy Rated 5 out of 5 stars Right coffeemaker for the right price. Amywamy I bought this coffeemaker to replace a high-end machine that had quit on me. My cousin has an older version of this model and I remember the coffee tasted awesome even after sitting for an hour and a half. It still holds true. I can dispense a cup of coffee an hour after I first brewed it and it's still hot and holds its flavor. No burnt tasting coffee because there is no hotplate and carafe to deal with. Cleanup is incredibly simple. The coffeemaker comes apart easily and you can rinse it out in the sink. This machine goes to show that you don't have to spend a ton of money to have great coffee. Kristi951 I have had a ton of coffee makers, and this by far is the best. It is very easy to use. I love the fact you don't have to worry about breaking your glass pot, there is none. Coffee stays fresh inside the unit.

It looks fancy and looks like this might be hard to use, but it is not. A 5 year old could make coffee with this. Easy to clean as well. I can not think of anything bad about this item, nothing. 5 stars all the way. You will love it! BethWM I have bought MANY coffemakers throughout the years and none of them was as good as this one. It's easy to use, cleans easily, the coffee never burns and always tastes as good at the end of the pot as it did in the beginning. I've read the complaint some people left and don't why they're having trouble. As long as you hold the water basket over the tank, you don't get water anywhere. It has a pour spount and if you hold your hands still, you won't have a problem. Also, everything fits just fine and there have been no leaks. Take;a few extra seconds and make sure you have it together right, and you won't have any leaks. You can tell if it's not together right if the lid doesn't close. It's a no-brainer people. I've had mine a couple of months andI love this coffeemaker and wouldn't trade it for any coffemaker on the market. I would recommend this to a friend Helpful (2) Unhelpful (0) Report Comment Photokatt Photokatt Rated 5 out of 5 stars Physics department RAVES about this coffeemaker. Posted 11 years ago. Photokatt We have a kitchen in my college's physics department, which is NICE since as students (and sometimes teachers) tend to eat sleep and breathe school. And of course that leads to our need for COFFEE!!! A fellow student brought this product in as a community coffee pot, and throughout this school year it has been used and abused and still works great (NO LEAKS).

We all love it because there is no coffee pot to break (or clean out), and it also has a fresh taste for longer (not that stale overcooked coffee taste when it's been sitting there for longer than an hour). And if left be it shuts off on its own (which is another good thing since we are all in and out and no one pays attention to who did or didn't turn off the coffee pot). We also liked it because it makes large amounts of coffee, and you can start pulling coffee off it before it's done brewing (we all had those classes we HAD to get to and couldn't wait for the pot to finish). Currently I am looking to buy one for our home, my husband is an advid coffee drinker (I only drink one cup a day) but he throws a lot of coffee out because after the pot has been sitting for 30-45 minutes he complains of the burnt taste, so I told him he would LOVE this coffee maker. He is thrilled with the description of it, we would have one NOW if it weren't for local stores being out of stock! Bottom line. Coffee comes out hot, and tastes great! But I still think it is simple to brew coffee with this machine (if you have brewed coffee before it is a no brainer). I LOVE the one we use at my school, and I am looking forward to having my OWN. I would recommend this to a friend Helpful (0) Unhelpful (0) Report Comment Dave1957 Dave1957 Rated 5 out of 5 stars Great coffeemaker Posted 9 years ago. Dave1957 I have been a fan of Bunn coffeemakers for a long time, but in the last few years their quality has slipped, and the last 2 haven't lasted as long as they used to. I read reviews and checked ratings, then talked to other owners of the Hamilton Beach brewstations and decided to give them a try. This is much more convenient than using a coffeemaker with a carafe. It makes better coffee than I had expected, in fact we think the coffee is just as good as the coffee the Bunn made. The automatic mode is a nice addition, when I wake up the coffee's ready to drink.

The brew time isn't too bad either, about 11 minutes for a full (12 cup) batch, I've seen much slower coffeemakers. On the downside the water reservoir is a little difficult to fill, I knew this from reviews I had read, but if you use a 8 cup measuring cup instead of the tank they provide with the brewstation, it will make your life much easier. Posted 9 years ago.I buy my own green coffee beans, roast them, blend them and grind them myself. So needless to say I also know coffeemakers. This coffeemaker does!!! The other major flaw with drip style coffee makers is that they burn the coffee that sits in the carafe waiting to be drunk, this coffeemaker also eliminates that problem as well. In short I love this coffeemaker!! It heats to correct temp and holds the brewed coffee at correct serving temp without scorching it. I would recommend this to a friend Helpful (2) Unhelpful (0) Report Comment Marc96 Marc96 Rated 5 out of 5 stars Hot Coffee made easy Posted 11 years ago. Marc96 We won one of these at our office Christmas party. I didn't look closely until we got home and I opened the box. Everything needed to get started except the coffee and water was in there. We washed it out and ran two brew-cycles through the first day. I found the minimal parts to clean a big bonus and both have handles like buckets. No more scalded hands or coffee grounds staining your fingers. To get the coffee you put your cup under the brew basket and push. The hot coffee comes out just like a soda fountain at a restaurant. And you can draw off coffee before the pot is finished brewing. Plus you can use the tall insulated travel cups because they fit under the nozzle too. We have been looking for a coffee maker for the office. I'm bringing ours in tomorrow for a long trial before we buy another for home.

Setting timer is super easy. Really like the unbreakable INSULATED coffee pot. It does a great job in keeping the coffee warm without burning. I'm now a real fan getting my coffee via the dispenser vs.Gripes: Flling the pot with water is a little tricky also need to make sure coffee basket is properly seated. The sight glass (shows how much coffee is left) is a little difficult to read. We havent had any problems with spills noted by other reviewers or bad (plastic) taste. I'd buy it again! TheAwesomo I bought this for my mom for Christmas '07. I did extensive research until I came up with this. I bought it, but I was skeptical due to other reviews from other Hamilton Beach products. This machine is GREAT. We use it every single day. It's going on 2.5 months that we've had it and it hasn't missed a morning yet. The timer is great and cleanup is a breeze. Just dump the filter basket upside down in the trash and rinse the reservoir and basket. We clean ours with soap and water once a week. It tastes great and the coffee NEVER burns. To top it all off, the design is great. You wouldn't want to hide this coffee maker. Cyninsoflla I had a cuisinart 12 cup no caraf coffee maker and it stopped working in about a year - When I got the Hamilton Beach BrewStation Plus 12-Cup Digital Dispensing Coffeemaker I was afraid it wouldn't B as good -BUT, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT - its easy to program, easier to put the water in, easier to use and enjoy!!
