Bill 1.0 out of 5 stars The picture has a warranty on Amazon so I thought it was with Brady. I called Brady and they said the device is not refurbished and those products are 20 years old and they suggested I return it which I have done. This is misleading advertising, there is no warranty at all and Amazon should force them to remove that picture with the warranty.Very spendy labels though. Came with everything you need to get going. We have use 20 rolls of refills already. We are very satisfied with the Brady printersI hate that the BMP21 can't do large labels like this one. No backspace key. You have to move the cursor back to a character, DELETE, then type the new character. Gets very tedious with many similar labels that can't be printed sequentially. But don't worry, ? is a top-level character requiring just one press. Finicky loading more labels and it tends to error out a lot. Against all logic, you clear errors using DELETE instead of CLEAR. Mid-label, LOW BATTERY. Can't feed the half-printed label. Can't clear the message. Can't do ANYTHING, even when you plug it in. Doesn't charge when turned on, can't run off AC power. You have to sit and wait for the battery to charge. Completely unacceptable in a work environment. It's horribly wasteful with the expensive consumables.

Feeds a blank label each time you turn it on.If you read the reviews a lot of positives coming from people who use it often, and bad reviews from people who think its expensive who probably hasn't ever used it. There's a ton of features that it has on such a tiny keyboard. They are robust and can print thousands of labels effortlessly without cleaning. With this product, when I head out to the job site, I always take a spare roll, ink and fully charged battery because one of the three will hit you while your up in a machine wiring. With the TLS, I can print out an entire input card in maybe a minute, that's 48 labels in one solid uncut roll, but with the Rhino, its a labor intensive one to one process with lots of paper shavings (two for each label). To say that this is expensive along with the materials is hog-wash. I get professional quality using the PTL-11-498 with the 4310 ink and have so for years. I use tiny poly versions for component labels and even the heat shrink style on occasion. The thing is an absolute tank, the Rhino is a KIA in comparison. Too bad this model is obsolete. I just hope the BMP61 can live up to the TLS name! From my opinion, if you are in the IT industry and need a good label maker, then there are better ones out there for that application where most of the labels you would be printing would be for cables. If all you are going to be labeling is cables (not individual wires) and placards, then go with something more cost effective, particularly with the label cartridges. I'm an EE and work in Industrial Controls and do a lot of machine building where there are hundreds of individual wires to be labeled at various wire gauges (18 AWG - 10 AWG) This is where the TLS2200 printer REALLY out shines any of the others that I have checked out or used, including the Panduit LS8. The TLS2200 is faster at printing for one thing and that is a must when time is money. There are times where I have to print out 50 labels of the same description.

That is easily done with the TLS2200 and it does it quickly. The variety of labels that are offered for the TLS2200 are huge. There are labels for anything from large cables to small gauge wire available. One of the biggest selling points for me on the TLS2200 is that it is the only labeler that I have tried or found that offers actual CLOTH labels. That is a must for small wire because it is memory resistant so it will stay put once you put it around the wire. It is nylon, so it will not be memory resistant. At my company, we also have a couple of the Panduit LS8E's, which is Panduit's latest, greatest. I had one of their sales guys come in and show me his products as I was really wanting actual cloth labels. They don't make them. So, the TLS2200 was my only option. My boss wouldn't allow me to buy one since we already had two of the Panduit LS8E's. So, I purchased my own and just keep in in my tool box and let the company buy the labels and the ribbon for it.
