CHANGING THE DEF AUL T P ARAMETER SETTINGS SALINITY CONTROL METHOD SELECTOR The following operating parameters can be adjusted using the wall control but only if a drain valve has been fitted to your cooler. If fitted, the bleed system, pictured on page 16, will constantly drain small amounts of water during the operation of the cooler. If your cooler has been installed with a drain valve it is accompanied by the W aterManager salinity probes. When the tank’s water salinity level reaches a preset level the W aterManager will open the drain valve and release about 6 to 8 litres. Fresh water will then be added diluting any minerals or salts accumulated. The W ater Manager will continue to monitor and drain water as required. This can be set by changing the salinity control method selector if using the wall control, or DIP switch F if using the remote control. NOTE: When the cooler ’ s tank is empty and the cooler is turned on again, the fan operation will be delayed as the tank is refilled and the pads are saturated. If the power in your home goes off for less than 5 seconds the cooler will retain its current settings. That is, it will stop for the time the power is off but resume operation when the power comes back on again. If the power goes off for more than 5 seconds the cooler will automatically turn itself off. That is, once the power comes back on the cooler will not resume operation. Y ou will have to turn the cooler back on using the wall control or remote control.U kunt hieronder aangeven waarom deze vraag ongepast is. Wij controleren de vraag en zonodig wordt deze verwijderd. How did you guys fix it? Make sure the solenoid is letting water into the unit and make sure the float valve is opening properly. Sometimes these valves will jam open (through failure) and the water comes into the unit and runs straight out. There is a sensor which checks to make sure the water is in there before starting up the pump and if it doesn't sense any water after a few minutes it will shut the unit down with an 02 fault. The range is designed to offer excellent efficiency, which can only be maintained with genuine Breezair parts. From minor components like filters to more complex Breezair spare parts, you don’t want to put your system at risk with cheap, generic parts. For example, the brand’s Icon series offers savings of up to 90 on electricity costs compared to standard refrigerated units. Even compared to other evaporative air conditioning systems, you could use as much as 40 less electricity. This product range has enhanced the brand and created a reputation that Breezair is a name that can be trusted. For example, Breezair has some exclusive components including motors that are not only corrosion resistant but also electronically controlled for optimum efficiency, running at variable speeds to provide excellent electricity efficiency. Additionally, Breezair units use Chillcel pads that are made using organic paper materials, with a honeycomb panel design to improve cool strength. These can last up to seven years, but will eventually need to be replaced to maintain performance. Although generic parts may be available, genuine parts are designed to the exact Breezair specifications of the original unit, so you can be assured of quality and ensure that your system continues to operate at peak efficiency, safety, and output. Even if you still have your owner’s manual and know the part you need to replace, the myriad of part numbers can be a little overwhelming.

Unlike many retailers, the Air Spares team has years of heating and cooling industry experience. This means that we have the experience and expertise to help guide you through the range of options for Breezair spare parts. Additionally, our team members are available for servicing and repair throughout Perth. While some elements of maintenance such as changing filters can be simple for homeowners to perform themselves, if you have a more complex part that needs replacing, we’re here to help. We offer the full range of genuine Breezair parts including Breezair spare parts for new and older systems. The Air Spares team is also on hand to answer any queries you have to keep your Breezair system operating at peak efficiency. It will cool an area of approx 20m2 and heat an area of approx 26m2. Secondly, the switches might need some adjustment. This is also VERY SIMPLE. There are three connection prongs at the top of each microswitch. If you GENTLY grab the middle prong with some needle-nose pliers and bend it SLIGHTLY back and forth, you will hear the small 'click' of the switch mechanism turning on and off.I hate hearing of people paying hundreds of dollars to fix things which are so incredibly basic! Thanks for posting this, I found it with Google. I discovered this when the pump went bad. You are right about Breezair parts costs. During the pump replacement I realized the reservoir was never emptying. Any suggestions on what I could check or do instead of taking a second mortgage on my house to buy the valve and motor assembly. Any advice on debugging this thing so I can be sure where the problem is? What I found was a white plastic peg that was fully depressed, holding the drain plug in place. It is almost frozen in place. Is this common? It seems that it should move freely. Anything special I should do to free it? Thanks for your posts. They pointed me in the right direction. I guessed that battery leakage which I also had was a clue to the problems I had with the remote exactly as you guys described. I guessed that some of the leakage spilled onto the pcb and whenever the humidity got high enough (ie: whenever the unit was working hard!) the traces of battery electrolyte on the pcb would absorb water and become conductive, screwing up the pcb's operation. So I dismantled the unit, washed the pcb with Metho, mildly abraded it with a nylon brush, and dried it with a hairdrier. The local rip-off artist (sorry-distributor) who would surely have known how to fix this, was Coldair of Springvale, VIC. Quite often these guys can be non technical in this area (electronics) but quite knowledgable on HVAC.The pre-summer tech that cleaned the pads simply said it was getting old. Just before the real heat hit the pump died. Had that replaced whilst we were away.

Returned home to find the repairer had left the fan on high (no cooling) for 5 days all windows and doors were locked! As I do just now. Hey its only 33 today but jumping up later in the week. Any relevant info welcome. Cheers. He brought the 'capacitor' down from the roof. It had 3 black holes blown in it with some metal melted in a blob out from it. Has gone off to get a part to replace that, reakons that will fix things. Thanks Dave. I'll give it a go:) My earlier post explains a few methods to solve it without paying the exorbitant fees. Once full (only takes a minute or so to fill), the water raises a float valve which turns the water off. The unit then uses this water to cool for as long as the unit is running. When you turn it back on, the process repeats. My lengthy post in the middle should give you some tips on fixing it. After a service 12 months ago, the aircon worked fine. But around February we noticed that a particular part of our lawn was exceptionally green and growing, whereas the rest of Parkes (NSW) was as dry as a dead dingos donger. At first we thought it was a water pipe, but discounted that. Then when it cooled off, we turned off the BreezAir, guess what. The grass dried out, where before it was defiantly lush and green. The confirmation arrived in the mail and the water bill. Now I'm reluctant to call the local Seeley people again, as their maintenance techs do not inspire confidence and appear overeager to be somewhere else rather than fixing a problem, but their time is obviouly (judging by the quanta of the post visit bills!). Im a recycled ex-Telecom tech myself. And judging by the sound of leaking water, its time to DIY aircon;) After having a quick look at the manual it was pretty clear that the error is water related. Also water was flowin from the drain pipe intermittently, which looked like the valve was continuously opening and closing, which it certainly did.
