The last APC I got was dusty and appeared to have been in the box for long while and I am not sure if there is a way to check the manufacturer date on this.With only 3 load battery life is 15 minutes and that was this morning after being charged all night. Battery I purchased for less elsewhere with same load has almost 1 hour backup time. This was a mistake, may return in a few days if no change. Returning battery it's defective no load I only shows 53 minutes of run time instead of 785 Minutes.I don't think it is good to completely discharge lead acid batteries so I contacted APC and they said the shelf life is 6 months so if on the shelf longer then they might be discharged. I couldn't find any manufacture date on the batteries so don't know if they were on shelf too long or discharged too fast. So I contacted Amazon and they sent new batteries which were fully charged when received. The first set was good brand Hitachi batteries thought (the second set were different brand but I can't remember what it was). I've had terrible luck with cheap Chinese batteries so I strongly recommend genuine APC replacement batteries because I'm sure they won't put their name on junk.Common life of these are 3-5 yrs from what I've researched. These replacements are 1yr 7mo old. The last outage killed these batteries. Now capacity is still zero with days of charging on AC Utility. OEM APC batteries are now junk. Better off to go the much less expensive off-brand route with this kind life expectancy at OEM prices.Before we became cord cutters my BackUPS XS 1300 would run the DirecTivo overnight, now it'll run the wireless AP and network switch pretty much indefinitely - and lots longer than virtually all of our power outages, plus charge up the phone when it dies, so we won't need to suffer from Internet Deprivation Disorder or chew up the data plan.
We're a long way out from the substation and get a tree or two on the distribution power lines every year that takes a few hours (depends on how many other trees fell) to fix, Set for another 7 or 8 years!IE the label is not the same. It does have all the appropriate ratings and fit the existing ups without any issue. Da qui ho deciso di rischiare ed acquistare questa batteria anche se un po' dubbioso al riguardo, non conoscendo la provenienza ma confidando della fantastica opportunita di Amazon di effettuare il reso in caso la batteria non avesse risolto il mio problema ( a differenza di APC che ti fa spendere i costi di spedizione fino in Olanda per il reso). Ricevuta la batteria con imballo Amazon perfetto, il mio UPS e rinato e tutto funziona egregiamente quindi la mia unita necessitava solo di una batteria nuova e spero che duri per altri 5 anni ed ho risolto il problema con una spesa congrua.
