Kennedy and Lizabeth Cohen, and it is now in its seventeenth edition. The book's chronology officially ends in the year 2001, though later printings include an additional three paragraphs detailing the 2004 US election as well as September 11. Since then, the incumbent edition of the American Pageant included information regarding the 2008 presidential election. Chapters 29 and 30 from the 15th Edition were combined in the sixteenth edition.

It also extends the textbook's historical coverage to the year 2014.This textbook, he says, therefore uses easy syntax, unsophisticated interpretations, and gives only limited coverage to complex and controversial topics. The typeface is large, and the page layout is generous with many color illustrations. It gives a basic political narrative emphasizing great men and famous events, although it does include new topics regarding diversity of race and gender. AP Textbook Chapter Review Videos They are so incredibly helpful for my APUSH class. Do you know when you will be posting the remaining 3 chapter videos? I am starting 15 this week, and I have not made videos beyond that yet. Sorry. They are so helpful. My APUSH teacher told my class about you at the beginning of the school year and your videos have helped me tremendously! Good luck this year. Thanks so much for watching. Good luck this year. Please post the last few ASAP Can’t thank you enough ?? I should get to them soon. God luck this year. I found them about a month ago and since then I’ve shared them with my entire class. Thank you so much ?? I’m glad the videos help you and your class. Best of luck to you this year. I will be finishing all the videos up to 39 this week, do you know when the remaining ones will be up? Thanks for watching. Best APUSH videos on the web. I have been using them all year, and when I finally told my “secret” to the rest of my class, they all began watching them too. If it were not for these videos, I would not have an A in my APUSH class. Thank you for taking the time to do these. Thanks for the kind words, I’m really glad the videos help. Good luck in May! Thanks for watching. But I have a question about the AP Exam. I mean when I see “Missouri Compromise”, it rings a bell, and I can explain what it is, but are supposed to know some of the causes and effects of the compromise as well. This goes for other topics as well. Thanks Right now I’m studying for the APUSH exam and this is perfect for review. I have been watching the videos almost all year along with my classmates and my grades have improved ever since. I love your references back to Henry Clay btw.

Would you consider doing a video on a quick DBQ example. Or perhaps a quick summary of each president. I often get what happened in who’s presidency mixed up.I’m glad the videos help. I do have a video on how to attack the DBQ. You can check it out here. I don’t have a list of every president, but I do have some videos on presidents. You can find the videos here. Good luck! You’ve helped me make really good grades in my APUSH class and I feel so prepared for the AP test! Best of luck to you on the AP exam. I hope you do well. I really want to thank you for your efforts in helping kids understand history. Your videos provide context, memory tricks, and everything you need to know. I can’t tell you how awesome you are and how thankful I am. Best of luck to you on the exam. I am a visual learner, so it is hard for me to retain most of the information. Do you have any advise on how i can remember for the Apush exam?? Thanks My final is in two days and I know nothing but everything here answered my final review so thank you so much. Thanks for watching. I am not doing very well in the class right now, so I’m truly finding these videos soooo helpful- they make it 10x easier to study and find key points. Thanks again. I believe I can speak for most others on your website when I say this- you work is much appreciated! I’m glad this website has been helpful. Good luck! Your videos are awesome and my class is obsessed with your bromance with Henry Clay. I love that you make it easy to learn so many dull facts. I appreciate it! Do you assign them in lieu of or as well as reading notes? Then, each night they watch a different video based off of the chapters, and watch the chapter review video at the end of the week (usually on Thursday night). In class, we do graphic organizers, look at sources, charts, etc., or practice essay writing. Hope that helps! Gonna go over it soon, just hoping if it will come anytime soon. Maybe this week? Or next week? Or over spring break? Please !

Now, I’m reviewing for the AP test, so thanks for your help! ?? Best of luck on the 8th! However the one thing that I do not agree with is the fact that you called Iran’s shah a “brutal” dictator in chapter 37. He was actually loved by many people, including my parents and grandparents. What has now turned into the government of Iran right now, is what you should call brutal. If he would have stayed as the shah, Iran’s condition right now would have been much better. I know from experience because I live there 3 months out of the year. I would wholeheartedly agree that the current government is brutal. Like many political figures, different people have different views. I appreciate you giving your perspective and experiences, as my knowledge of Iranian history is pretty limited. Thank you for your support and good luck on Friday! My students love the Adam Norris videos because they have sufficient detail, are accurate and easy to understand. Your work makes a difference! THANK YOU I’m glad to hear the videos are helpful. Best of luck to you and your students this year. As soon as I found them and the guided notes, I told my class and you’re practically a hero ?? I understand everything easier because you simplify topics down to the key elements. Thank you so so so much! Thank you for making this material entertaining. Can you please post the video guides for the last chapters please? Would it be okay if I posted your PowerPoints on my class website for my students to access? They help a lot and my teacher, Mr. Radulski( who said he had the pleasure of meeting you at one of his conferences) uses them and the worksheets every week or so. They have helped me this entire year and I am using them to study for the AP test. I am able to learn a lot better and easily find the key concepts. Once again, thank you so much! ?? They really are beneficial to watch, and I have been sharing them with my classmates to help them as well!

As a returning teacher to the classroom and AP being new for me I can’t begin to share with you how helpful these materials and guidance have been. My students love the guided notes. As a result, all of the following chapters are off by one number, which unfortunately I have taken a long time to notice. Not sure if my textbook is an older version or something, it’s the 16th edition. It might be helpful to specify if you’re using a different version to spare people the confusion of watching the wrong videos. The videos are super helpful other than that though, my whole class uses them. Are there any video guides for chapters 28-41? Thank you so much. Comment Name Learn how your comment data is processed.
