However, it is not recommended that you use chairs on the roof. Some models offer a ladder as optional equipment. It is not recommended that you ever try to install a ladder yourself; we recommend you consult your selling dealer. Road dust can stick to surfaces, causing scratching from grit. How long your battery will last depends on usage, outside temperature, and condition of your battery. You must be connected to a shore line or use a generator to have this power. Your microwave, air conditioner, and television are notable appliances that run only on shore power.

Automotive batteries are made to be constantly recharged by the car's alternator and will not provide long service in a trailer because of limited charge cycles. Deep cycle batteries are built to be drained and recharged multiple times. Use a wire brush to remove any corrosion. Many systems in your trailer depend on battery power, so keep this in your pre-trip checklist for happy camping. Please contact your selling dealer to inquire on any assistance you may need, and Cruiser RV will try to assist if possible. Running more than one high drain appliance on the circuit is generally at fault. Look especially for appliances that generate heat as the culprit, such as coffee makers, microwaves, toasters, hair dryers, and curling irons. People's breath adds moisture, along with washing, showering, cooking and drying of wet items. This is unpleasant and notoriously difficult to remove. Open windows and use vent fans to compensate. While showering or cooking, use vents to keep moisture levels from growing. Get in the habit of running vent fans proactively when doing these activities. Crack windows and vents at night while sleeping. Aim to reduce humidity before condensation forms in cracks and crevices. These areas dry more slowly and are prime mildew locations. This number is derived from the combination of each axle rating plus the hitch weight. That number is calculated at the factory with calibrated scales, and is made of 2 components: AXLE WEIGHT and HITCH WEIGHT. The scale under the hitch reads 410 pounds. The DRY WEIGHT would equal 4,591 pounds) Once you subtract it from the cargo weight, the tires are within specification and not overloaded. These outlets have two buttons, T for Test and R for Reset. Press in the R button to reset the outlet. Wet appliances or faulty wiring can cause this. Try a different dry appliance on the circuit first. If the problem persists with multiple appliances, it may be the wiring in the trailer.

Electric is only used to keep water warm and minimize the time for the burner to heat the water to temp. Following is an excerpt from the owner’s manual: Use the electric setting to keep the boiler tank up to temperature and for light heating needs, Use the burner when colder conditions require or when using hot water. This allows for a load no greater than 20 amps. In most cases people are plugging in a space heater along with a coffee maker and the microwave. If too many things are operating at the same time the breaker will trip on the inverter itself. There is a reset on the side of the inverter located in one of your compartment boxes. The cover next to the switch comes off and there you should find fuses. Refer to the Manual in your Renegade Owner’s manual or contact Renegade at 574-966-0193 or 574-966-0210. Many times it is programmed to come on when the heat is turned on. The AC heat pump assist function can be un-programmed from your thermostat. To Turn this function off refer to your owner’s manual. Take the face off of the latch and check the batteries.

See the instructions in the Renegade Owner’s Manual or call Renegade. Once turned on refer to the options on your radio screen. Mac 5.0 out of 5 stars If you are a DIY person or simply interested in the workings of your RV this is the book for you. I wish someone would produce an updated version, but still a valuable resource.I did not get any information on how to operate any thing when I bought my 1989 190 Falcon Ford E-350. I tired to contact all sorts of people asking how I could get information about the systems. Then I found this book and it has every thing I needed to know and so much more. The book was wrote in such a way that most anyone can understand to find a problem and fix it.

If you have a RV this is the book to have and I am very happy with it.It has definitely been helpful as opposed to having nothing to consult. Once was when I couldn't light the pilot on the gas oven. After trying everything we thought would help, I got the book out, turned to the section on gas and after reading to my significant other, I saw the light bulb go on in his head. The book suggested checking to be sure the gas was turned on. We had turned it off earlier in the day before going through the tunnels across Chesapeake Bay. He went out and turned the propane tank on, and the problem was solved. My only disappointment about the book is it doesn't give enough diagrams of parts of an RV, but then with so many brands out there, I guess it would be impossible to cover them all. We're still pretty new at RV'ing but we refer to the book periodically and while it can't tell you how to fix everything, it at least gives you some clues to know how serious your issues might be. I couldn't find a book that covered a 2003 Jayco Eagle 5th wheel. This is better than nothing.I'll probably never reach the stage where I do all the repairs this book contains, but if I were brave enough, this book would be the one I would use. Very detailed step-by-step instructions, very clear writing, great illustrations or photos. I recommend this book, even if you're a bit timid about hands-on. It's a bit pricy, which is why I've not rated it higherWhen that happens, and it will happen, you need this book to understand what's going on and how to fix it.Example: He needed a motor for the slide out and this book was very helpful on how to pull out the old motor and put the new one in.The reason I rated so low is not the information provided, incomplete on the other systems not covered. It didn't quite make it for Christmas but it will come in very useful come RV season.Book tags are created from a variety of sources, some of which are customer-generated.
