The extra - wide strap ensures a secure mount to the tree, and a padlock loophole plus software password keeps out would-be thieves. Senses motion like typical security motion detector. Well, when you get it, the box says it's a 2 MP SENSOR that creates 4 MP images. All the camera is doing is blowing up images from a low resolution sensor. I can do that with any image on my computer. After reading this, I tested the unit in my house before exposing it to the elements, and I was extremely disappointed with the image quality. I gave this item 2 stars only because it's cheap, though I should dock it that extra star for the false advertising. This camera has extremely poor exposure control, especially with the flash. From 10 feet away, the flash washes out detail and creates a huge white spot with no detail at all. Images are highly pixelated day and night. Thread the strap through the slots on the back of the Sentry and attach the buckles, then strap it onto a suitable tree, making sure the strap is tight and the camera is aimed at the area you wish to observe.
