Up to 5 handsets can be registered and operated from any one BT Synergy 3105 base. With additional handsets, you can make internal calls between two handsets while a third is making an external call. I have recently found a spare Philips Onis handset thatI used years ago and would like to use this in addition to the BT handsets. Is this possible? Both systems are GAP compatible but I have no manuals. Does anyone know hw I could register the Philips handset to the BT base.? ( Bt manual says it will connect up to 5 handsets.) Hold down the 'page' button on your BT base for 10 seconds or so and get the Phillips to search for base via registration menu - enter PIN 0000 (default).Unfortunately I have tried that. The Philips handset searches for the base but registration fails. Maybe the Onis is similar. Try unregistering the handset first. However I think you need the original base station to be plugged in. You will also need the PIN which is underneath the base unit. I found a manual for the Kala on the Philips web site but the instructions aren't that clear. I tried to register my old phone (Studio 3500), but it failed to register. I have now bought a Studio 4100 to use as a second handset, but again it failed to register.For other's benefit the method is: On new handset via menu go to registration, pin (enter 0000), confirm.
