Regarding the more basic problem of needing to replace the combustion fan in the first place, and a couple of learnings that I'll pass along from doing my own replacement this year vs. My wife asked the fireplace cleaner if he could improve our installation accordingly; alas, the angled hardware did not permit this in our case very easily. Only other note is that it would have been nice if a replacement high-temp gasket had shipped with this assembly; it does not and next time I would probably order one separately as the one that I had is pretty fragile and fell apart somewhat, complicating the installation. (I was also surprised that there were only three of the six screw holes actually drilled in my machine; perhaps that is unique to my pellet stove though I would think Breckwell should have pre-drilled all six at the factory.)However I started my stove and there is a funky smell coming from it now.
