So if you want quality, buy all components separate.I suggest anyone who is interested in this kit, Knows that this kit exists; This is the 3 star kit and that is the 5 star kit. Installed on a 2004 Audi A4 1.8tThe only thing you might complain about is the instructions.None of the parts were missing or broken. All pieces fit into car without resistance or issue. Would recommend for anyone with the Passat 2002 or 2003 they might need it. Also price is great!No issues, all went together pretty well. Quality looked good. It's been several months since I installed this kit so I cant comment on longevity yet.Always need to be cautious on audis and durability of the part. Its been running strong since install. Would highly recommend this product.This was my first timing belt and water pump replacement and I'm not a mechanic and it was fairly straight forward. Confusing form and I wasn't sure if they where going to pay shipping. Very unclear customer service. Will not use again.I didn’t have time to install it so I had my mechanic do it. He complained beforehand about me not letting him get the overpriced marked up parts and was worried about quality.

The all telling tale will be if it lasts til my next timing belt change. I was happy that the water pump had the metal impeller.Hardest part of the whole job is getting the tensioner in with that motor mount in the way. Save yourself a ton of money and do it yourself. Took me about 6 hours. Bought this over continental.The timing belt tensioner would not fit, bad machining. The tensioner, held in with two 10MM bolts which would not align due to out of spec machining of part. Had to go to local auto store to procure new timing belt tensioner which fit perfect. Belt, water pump fit and function as expected.Looks like they drilled out the bottom hole bigger on the tensioner. No longer requires any modification to fit. Thank you. As for the kevlar TB, I think its a waste of money of you are stock.But read that it is often (more often?) not the BELT itself, but the tensioner which fails and wrecks our engines. So you may get (claimed) 100k miles out of your belt just to see the tensioner go bad after 60k. I wouldn't go that route. Rather do a timing belt job every 60-70k.Thanks guys!
